Bus Rider

I know it's been a while, I apologize, my life is pretty hectic.  Headed back to the Bronx on the BxM1 after Lindsay's doctor appointment.  Some larger apartment buildings for your viewing pleasure.  No baby today.  Lots of other shit to do though.

Blue Skies

Nice day here in the BX.  That's all. Blue skies and no clouds, sun is shining.

1 Train

Heading downtown to see Glassjaw at Best Buy Theater.  Meeting up with Paul to have a few beers and some food beforehand.

Here's a random subway platform.

Missing the UAB vs. Manhattan women's basketball game - semi-finals of the WBI.  Go get em girls!

Motorized Dino

They're digging up something outside our building and this dinosaur like machine is moving these pipes that weigh a ton. Just a beast of a machine. I'm sure it's been on Modern Marvels on History.

Whoa!

"U" Like?

Not sure I would call this crack shack for Chinese takeout.  They're never short on funny names to call their places, though.

NY Plates

Came across this beaut the other day. Just another perfect example of what it's really like living in the Bronx. Enjoy. Not your everyday paper plate.

Sick to my stomach

Beautiful day. Nice field. Good outing from the starter. Bullpen lets up 6 in bottom of the ninth. I'm literally sick to my stomach.

Sick. Embarrassed. Demoralized.

Lock & Key

Simple. Not much explaination needed. A key in a lock. Good win over Seton Hall today, 6-3.

New Bone

Mid-bite, Nathan is amazed at the size of his new rawhide bone. He's a cool dog.

Sunrise in Knoxville

Some semblance of a sunrise here near the airport in Knoxville.  Phone photos are a little grainy.  Sorry.

Still Wearing it Proud

Played OK for 7 innings the first game before a 5 spot killed us. Fought back in game two but fell 3-2. Wear it proud and keep the head high. One more shot tomorrow.

Knoxville Airport

View of the airport from our hotel. Not sure it's too legal or smart to take pictures of an airport, but I'm no threat, so here it is. A Continental waiting to unload.

First Base

Our bases...with a little TLC and white paint, they're good as new.  Sorry about the lack of quality posts lately.  I'm back and badder than ever.

Finally

Lindsay and her mom mobile. We finally got the thing. Pretty neat driving a brand new car with 6 miles on it.

Soggy Rock Hill

It's raining a lot today. And the forecast isn't promising. We should have played last night when it wasn't raining but cancelled because of the forecast - which was 100% wrong.  Now Rock Hill is covered in clouds and rain. Miserable.

Game Day

Jerseys hung in the dugout with anticipation of a better game today.  Check back later yo!

Winthrop Ballpark

Home to the Eagles and the largest batter's eye on earth.  If a hitter complains he can't see here, send him to an eye doctor immediately.

WWF Loser

Either I'm not so good at this or Jon is very, very good. I think I'm pretty OK at word games. Word Solitaire is another one of my favorites. Anyway, here's my latest L. Good news was there weren't any walks,

Wednesday Two-fer

Sorry about the lack of a post yesterday, I know you all are biting your nails in anticipation of my posts (sarcasm), so here is a two-fer for you all.

First is a little extravagance, of which I will never be able to afford.  To be honest, I don't even know what the hell they sell - watches?  Some textured wall with a brushed aluminum (??) sign.
Second, here's a cool pair of buildings I saw down on the East side of Manhattan.  Just thought they looked cool together, with the fire escapes and stuff.  There's neat building like this all over the city, so you can take a picture of every building and have a cool, different photo every time.
